Control and protection device for single screw pump

In addition to conventional voltage, current and other protections, there are mainly the following aspects:

1. The parameters of the frequency converter should be adjusted appropriately to meet the needs of heavy-duty starting.

2) Material level control: There is usually a hopper or liquid storage tank above the feed inlet of the screw pump. The level control instrument is installed above this hopper. When the material level in the hopper is lower than the set liquid level value, the pump will automatically stop running to avoid idling.

3) Dry moving protector: Installed on the stator, once the pump runs out of material and causes dry operation between the stator and rotor, the stator temperature rises sharply. At this time, the dry operation protector will sound an alarm, cut off the power supply, and protect the stator from burning out.

4) Overvoltage protection: Installed at the outlet of the pump, once the pipeline is blocked and the pressure of the pump increases, an alarm will be triggered and the pump will automatically stop running to avoid overloading and damage to the pump and motor.
