Fluoroplastic centrifugal pump is a product designed and manufactured by international standards and combined with non-metallic pump technology, which has many advantages of plastic pumps, such as strong corrosion resistance, good wear resistance, high mechanical strength, not easy to age and no toxin decomposition. It is very suitable for long-term transportation of various concentrations of strong acids, alkalis, salts and strong oxidants and other corrosive media. However, despite the many advantages of plastic pumps, various faults can occur after long-term use, some of which even require the user to disassemble and troubleshoot.
For the question of how to disassemble a fluoroplastic centrifugal pump, here are the steps to sort it out:
1. First, close the inlet and outlet valves, loosen the motor anchor bolts, and separate the pump and pump head (i.e., motor coupling and pump coupling).
2. When removing the protective cover, loosen the connecting bolts between the bracket and the pump body and the suspension bracket bolts, and then disassemble the impeller, pump cover, bracket, bearing box, mechanical seal, etc. one by one (pay attention to the order of placement to avoid installation error).
3. Loosen the fastening nut at the end of the pump shaft, hit the nut and tighten the bolt with a copper rod to separate the tail vertebrae of the impeller from the taper sleeve on the pump shaft, and separate the impeller, pump cover, mechanical seal, bracket and bearing box one by one.
4. Loosen the two fastening screws of the mechanical seal moving ring, remove the mechanical seal moving ring from the impeller shaft, then remove the pump cover, remove the mechanical seal gland screw on the pump cover, and remove the static ring of the mechanical seal.
5. If you need to replace the pump body, remove the connecting bolts of the inlet and outlet pipes and the foot bolts of the pump body.
6. Loosen the left and right gland screws of the pump shaft, take out the pump shaft and bearings, and clean the oil cavity of the bracket.
7. When replacing the impeller, remove the round nut on the tail vertebrae.
Please note: All dismantling operations must be performed in power-off mode to avoid accidents. The above is a description of the disassembly steps of the fluoroplastic centrifugal pump, I believe you have a preliminary understanding of the disassembly method of the fluoroplastic centrifugal pump through this article. At the same time, if you encounter unsolvable problems during the disassembly process, please stop the operation immediately to avoid secondary damage, and contact the manufacturer for help in time.
